Our Heritage: From the Valleys to Bridgend While the exact origins of the original Port Talbot Snooker League remain a mystery of local sporting history, its legacy is undeniable. The league grew from humble beginnings into a fierce, highly competitive association featuring three thriving divisions. It became a cultural staple for cueists across the region, drawing talent from:

*Llynfi Valley
Our historic presentation nights are still fondly remembered as great successes, celebrating the incredible skill and community spirit of our players.
As the sporting landscape shifted over the years, general interest in snooker faced its challenges. However, thanks to the unwavering dedication of a core group of local stalwarts, the flame was kept alive right here in the vicinity of Bridgend. To better reflect this modern era and the geographical home of our dedicated clubs, the league officially rebranded as the Bridgend and District Snooker League on September 27, 2019.
